Zoom w a View: From my sister’s front porch

Four out of five Harrison’s love birdhouses and scatter them round about their yards.

The hold out is too busy painting portraits. And has no yard.

While sitting on the front porch of my sister’s trailer in Bayfield on Sunday I snapped this one.

Back to the workshop. Maybe I can modify the design a bit.

Your hold-out brother used to live down the street from me. I visited a couple of times during the annual 'Artist Studio Visit Tour.'

I can't imagine he had much of a backyard at that time.

But what a great front room and studio and what beautiful portraits were done there.

Hi Sonny,

The younger brother used to grow tomatoes behind his last apt. near Ridgeway, but they kept disappearing. Wasn't me.

He's a great teacher as well as painter, and has invited me to attend one of his next sessions. Brave boy, he is.

Cheers,

GAH
