My Maple Leafs: They can’t score or stop pucks

My Maple Leafs are going backwards.

They've had a bad run lately, haven't they? The results of their last ten games (1 - 7 - 2 - 0) is the worst in the NHL.

According to Rob Longley in this morning’s Free Press, though The Leafs have the highest number of shots on net their shooting percentage is “second worst in the league.”

Here’s something else I just figured out after making several complicated mathematical calculations.

The Leafs have scored 123 goals in 46 games (a little less than average in the Eastern Conference) but have allowed 160 in the same time frame, 30 more than the average in their conference and the highest number in the NHL.

While coach Wilson yells at Kessel pucks are going into the net!

We need a bigger and better puck stopper!
