Zoom w a View: London is halfway to a decent snow cover

Six inches of snow on the ground hasn’t stopped the squirrels from finding their way around nearby backyards. The fence railings are their highways.

These two chairs don’t remind me of summer anymore. Hopefully they’ll be covered for two months.


My 3 dollar spruce tree appears to be hitting its stride. In 10 more years it will be magnificent. I don’t mind waiting.


One of my favourite birdhouses, attached to the north wall of The Annex, hides under heavy spruce branches. It will surely survive six more inches of snow.
