From Pine and Dark Cedar
I was asked recently to build a mailbox - as a Christmas gift - so I set to work. I mulled a design over in my head, I sketched a plan or two, I sorted some lumber (both new and rescued, as is often the case).
Some things are starting to look 'mailboxy' inside my workshop.
More work (painting, attaching trim and hardware, etc.) and boxy photos to follow.
