Young at Heart: Sometimes I think I’m a comedian

I know, men are from Mars.

And women are from Venus, maybe even farther away than that.

However, even knowing the above, I tried to make my wife laugh yesterday.

I said, “Between reading sections of the paper a husband says to his wife, it’s spring. So lovely. We should think about going on a short vacation.”

Then I said gruffly (picture a woman with a cigarette hanging from her lip), “Wha..., together?”


["Lemme think about it"]

My wife actually laughed.

I’m going to try another one on her tomorrow.
