The Maple Leafs: Two wins in a row would be VERY nice

Two wins in a row might even be miraculous.

At least, that’s what some members of my 50-plus hockey team said yesterday after we got spanked 2 - 1.

(I had some good chances too).


My opinion:

1. The Leafs have scored fewer goals than 12 of 15 teams in the East.

2. They have to climb over 5 teams to be on the right side of the playoff line in the standings.

3. With Phaneuf gone, they need me. I’m ready.

Conclusion:

A win tonight would be VERY VERY nice.
