Muted colours, for certain, seem to be the order of the day.
Still, a few surprises can be found to cheer the weary traveller, or in my case, give me something to focus on as I walk to the Red Roaster for coffee.
On the south side of Bruce St., between Cathcart and Wortley, a tulip tree is beginning to shed a few leaves, but, if temperatures stay mild for awhile, it may retain some colour until December.
I’ll keep my eye on it.
