Live Small: We discard tomorrow’s fuel every day

Discards. I see them everywhere during my ‘fun and fitness’ walk around Wortley Village and Harris Park.

Plastic bottles appear to be London’s favourite litter. Without placing a refund value of 5 or 10 cents on each bottle of expensive tap water, abundant waste of this kind will continue.

And, because we don’t connect plastic to our limited fuel supply, we will also continue to toss toys to the curb and countless tubs into the bushes.

After the next generation’s oil supply is wasted by today’s profligate lifestyle, the Canadian Prime Minister will undoubtedly announce the bad news at an Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
