The Workshop

Projects and Progress

["Swap boxes, signage and birdhouses march toward the exit"]

Everything is running along smoothly inside the shop. Eight to ten projects, some needing paint, others needing assembly, are marching smartly toward the 'out door'.

["A 'little free library' is painted and ready for its door"]

The task that warmed the cockles of my heart more than any other yesterday concerned a pile of rescued western cedar 2 by 4s that graced a nearby curb a month ago. Study the photo below carefully. Spot the treasure?

Against the wall, between barn board left and right, stand 4-inch wide clean cedar slats I can now use for various aromatic projects. Rescued lumber really turns my crank.
