Finishing Touches

One item on my list today relates to going ahead with a few finishing touches on a three-piece barn birdhouse. 

["Three sets of stock is easy to cut, sand and stack"]

["The tin roofs and cedar shingles add some character"]

I want to add battens to the barn board to give the birdhouse more 'country panache', cut out pickets for a fence and - very important - find me a black and white cow to sit or stand behind the picket fence.

What are the odds I'll find that cow today? I mean, Wortley Village is a not a hot bed for Holsteins.
