The Workshop

Cedar Box Assembly

["The sides of the box are held square by a simple jig"]

Cutting and sanding are finished. Precision cuts for partitions are as well. It is time for some assembly related to the bottom of the cedar box.

["The four base slats are glued and nailed into place"]

["Precision cuts are ready for partitions"]

["Cedar partitions are slid, then nailed, into place"]

No mistakes so far that are outside my 1/16th inch tolerance. But it's still early in the game, eh!

Up next - the top of the box, and deep, dark trim.
