It's a Small Bird?

My walking mate spotted a path west of Wharncliffe that took is to the bank of the River Thames. While I snapped a photo of the quiet north shore he spotted a bald eagle. I had one good look and hurriedly snapped a photo.
Yup, it was a bald eagle all right, heading east toward the Wharncliffe bridge near the Children's Museum.
